Studio Visits

My studio is located at the Mill Centre in the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. The Mill Centre was built in 1847 and was part of the Mount Vernon Mills, a leading maker of quality cotton duck cloth for clipper ship sails. The mill manufactured textiles until 1972. In the mid-1980s the old mill was converted to artist studios and offices. It’s a beautiful building with lots of windows and interesting 19th century architectural details.
